From the horses mouth, well one of them anyway

Exactly what I thought when I read Apple Shrimps first post on the subject. Also the words 'If this was true' tends to convey the fact that it certainly isn't true! In anyway shape or form!!

According to that site, Burton have now turned their interest to Hartlepool's striker (instead of, or as well as Cole?)

May mean they are giving up on Cole, or simply, they are getting desperate? Sounds like they were forced to sell Adeboyejo because of a clause in his contract, so not good for them. But, they've now got cash to spend.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Why am I not surprised in this latest twist..... :?: :?: :?:

Accy would have a better chance of Cole seeking a move there instead of Burton BUT our need to hold onto him is of greater importance... :)

We can't let him go without a player of similar stature and experience coming in. You can't replace Cole with a young Loanee.

Stanley made 350k from the recent FA cup games, so they do have a bit of cash to throw at it. They lack a decent striker, they are desperate. They could offer silly money, but I can't see us allowing a transfer to them.

Agree...BUT is it the BoD or the current owner(s) who have the final say... :?: :?: :?:

Can't see our BoD sanctioning a sale to Accy .... :o unless DA and GS have got a suitable replacement already to be announced which could change things.... :?: :?: :?:

For me we HAVE to keep Cole until the end of the season....whatever :)

Apparently, the opportunity to recall loan players has already passed. Phillips didn't have the same clause when he was with us.
