Did alright. Commanded his area and dealt with numerous shots and crosses with confidence.

Padriag Amond's move away from Hartlepool doesn't reflect well on the boy.... :(

Anybody watch BBC Breakfast this morning.

Steph McGovern was in Doncaster talking about people being trained to work on HS2.

She talked to a 23 year old guy who had "been a professional footballer with Doncaster Rovers and a few other teams".

It was Liam Wakefield.

Before I read this I was going to post an update on his career....!! (I didn't see BBC Breakfast this morning either). Spooky !!

A colleague of mine at my Doncaster branch lives next door to him and he's now playing for Boston United.

I've also been told of some of the weird things he does to his dog to stop it pooing in his garden too but I'll save that one.... :o

From the BBC Website:

Carlisle United's Shaun Miller is the first player to be charged by the Football Association since simulation laws were introduced in May.

Miller, 30, is charged with "successful deception of a match official", after an alleged "clear act of simulation" against Wycombe on Tuesday.

Should the charge be accepted or proven, the striker would face a two-match suspension.

Miller has until 18:00 BST on Thursday, 19 October to appeal.

*sigh* What we wouldn't give for a prolific goal scorer like Perkins right now!
