Huge slice of good luck for a change! Weir shot hit Stockton and looped in to the goal. We then came close to a second in injury time with a great run & pass from Mayor to Weir, whose cross was almost connected with by Hunter (not Love, if you are listening to the commentary). Weir probably should have passed much earlier, or shot when first in the area.

Fortunate to be level at the break, need to improve.

I think we will crack on and win. Cambridge will be feeling the pressure

I hope you are right, but I fear Derek will look at the last two minutes, and say everything is working fine, so not change anything. The forced change has helped us.

High foot from Cambridge defender, kicking Love in the head. Anywhere else on the pitch, it is a free-kick, but in the penalty area, nothing.

Playing better in the opening period of the second half, although no clear opportunities at either end of the pitch.

If Duffus is fully fit, I'd swap him on for Hunter, and push them both forwards. The ball keeps coming back at us at the moment, with no 'out'.

Shaw, just over the bar. Our first real shot for a very long time.

Stockton off for Duffus
Hunter for Austerfield

So no attacking change?

Not a great performance but its a better point for us than it is for them that's for sure

Also Accy losing so it could be a valuable point come the end of the season

A point which I think on our performance over the 90 minutes was probably fortunate. However these are the games we need to be pushing to win a draw doesn’t help us much.

If Derek says "it was a good point", he should follow up by saying, "because Cambridge deserved to win".

A fortunate point makes it a good point, but while the fat lady is far from singing, she's certainly beginning to warm her voice up.

I watched the game tonight with a mate who has no interest in Morecambe. Even he said it was a penalty, but thought overall we were Sunday league standard. Unfortunately I had to agree with him, we made Cambridge look Prem.
