..at £20K a decent signing.

Lots of quality strikers on frees. Lowe; Abbot; Ellison; Hatch and a certain legend.

Reduced wages offered to Boulding and Macc's Evans means that they are also available to leave their clubs.

An interesting summer ahead.

Now, is he one of the 4?

Midfielder, Striker, Right wing back.....possibly; but maybe Sammy sees him as the Right wing back. If so another striker....??????

Who knows?

It's all to be revealed.

£50k was the figure being suggested. Surley the 'add-ons' can't be £30k?

Maybe the players value has reduced due to the overall state of finances in the game. £20K for Southport is better than having to take back a very unhappy player.

Another piece of excellent piece of business by our Board...assuming that the rumoured original free of £50K was accurate!
;) ;) ;)

Couldn't add on's just be a sell on fee or something?

Anyway, it sounds like a good deal. Even if Duffy only improves a bit, he'll still make a useful squad member at least.

First 2 games I saw him play he was rubbish but after those 2 games he's seemed to improve alot. Let's hope he carries on improving ;) .

Jon Newby due to be released from his contract at Greenock any day soon  Wonder if he will remain at Burton? Can't see it as a striker who has played 22 but not scored

And they clearly don't pass the ball to him enough. Jon Newby is a good player.

I quite like the guy but 13 clubs in 11yrs says it all really. His best goal ratio per game was with us (helped by a hat trick of course). During his career he has been loaned out to lower clubs 7 times and in all cases failed to score. Quite bizaar really.

3 youth team players signing professional contracts?
Maybe but surely they don't count as 3 of the 4 coming in?
