My frustration is not simply that we look like we're going down, but the manner. I don't think we've played to our strengths, in particular the recent run of 'must win games', where we failed to win any of them. Yesterday, we finally went back to two up front and getting balls in to the area, and had in doing so, created more decent opportunities against a good Barnsley side, than we did against poor Milton Keynes.
We're not good enough to compete against the sides at the top of the table, and we didn't compete in the games against the teams around us.

We took 4 points off FGR
1 off Cambridge = -5
3 off Stanley = 0
2 off Oxford = -4
3 off Cheltenham =0
4 off Burton = -2
Only MK Don's we didn't take points off.
To say we didn't compete with teams around us is silly.

Lets say we nick a win out of one of the next three games. Then we go into the last three against mid table teams. Sure we might then need to win all three but perhaps two wins out of three might just do it.
Stay positive. We survived last season on 42 points. We will probably need more but perhaps maybe not too many more.
Having fewer games to play may also work in our favour. We will have more time to prepare and playing two games in a week (and potentially losing both) might take it out of our rivals.
COYS!

Just hope we don't go the same way in seasons to come.

Scunthorpe definitely down to National League North and Yeovil a hairs breadth of dropping to South.
Scary to think that both clubs were playing Championship football very, very recently.
Seasider9601 wrote:It's definitely on a par with Yeovil's as well.
I remember Scunthorpe visiting The Globe at the end of the 2013/14 season and they celebrated winning the League 2 Championship that day.
