GET IN!!!

We were under the cosh for the first couple of minutes, with Plymouth having two corners. The second, Ripley made a great save, Simeu [I think] cleared it from the penalty area. Crowley took a lovely touch, then played a lovely ball on to Weir, who took the ball from almost the half-way line, and slotted home one-on-one.

Great start!

Only downside to that first half is both Accrington and Cambridge winning.

Although the refereeing being terrible is getting pretty tiring.

I don't think he's doing too bad. The linesman flagging Stockton off-side when Crowley was going for the ball is the only bad decision that I can recall.

Got to say, that was a superb goal for the equaliser.

Souare was potentially my MotM but totally at fault for the equaliser. Dilly-dallied with the ball, got caught in possession and bang, we're losing.

Really frustrating, as we've played really well.

Didn't deserve that. Unfortunately, too many games this season, we were deservedly beaten.

Play like this for the rest of the season, and we could still grab something.

Can't see another point this season

Conceding far far too many goals

Simply not good enough for league 1

Well, the hope didn't last long. Results at the bottom definitely going against us. Second bottom now.

That looks to be that after results elsewhere. Gutting to lose after an excellent battling performance we deserved at least a point from, but the damage has ultimately been done throughout the season.

Agree that Souare was MOTM until that daft error. Overall, I think the inexperience in our side shows quite strongly at times.

Better team for 60 minutes because Plymouth just hoofed it for Cosgrove and Faz and Ryan dealt with him. When they made the first 2 subs and got it on the deck they began to move us about which kills us everytime. Ripley at fault for the first, he isn't able to get across his line quick enough. We can't make Subs that change the game like these bigger clubs do, it has done for us all season.

Really poor officials again but that just seems to be the norm. The offside that wasn't offside in the first half was a joke.

Cant fault the effort but there you go, thems the breaks.
Hint of a deflection for Mayors goal to equalise according to their fans, and having watched him over the years, show him on his left foot FFS.
Souarre had strange game, head butted two advertising hoardings and their bench, then got caught out for the second!! Eventful.
The third is forgivable as we were chasing it in injury time, and I’d rather have a go than capitulating meekly.
However, the turning point was Cole’s effort saved at 1-0 in the second half, he shanked it, if he’d got hold of it and scored, different game.
League Two is warming up, it’s been a wild ride, but a return to our old stomping ground is imminent.
And for those that don’t want to come, fair enough, stay away, dont buy a season ticket, but some of us are Shrimps fans and will still be cheering them on. :D

If it's only 2 years in the third tier of English football then so be it, it has been an unreal experience to share with my friends and family. It might not ever happen again in our lifetime and it is a shame we couldn't push on this season but it has never been an easy ride following Morecambe. There a bigger problems that need fixing at the club and let's hope we are in a good place and able to have a good go at League 2 next season.

Gutted today for the lads. We deserved at least a point but we ended up losing due to having a go against one of thd best teams. Still hope and it's still kind of the same. Need four wins, so I will keep hoping until its mathematically impossible. Whatever happens we are set for at least our second highest ever league position. COYS

A good effort today. If we were in January then you’d say that performance bodes well for the rest of the season but unfortunately it counts for nothing right now.
