On the face of it it seems a strange time to get rid of a manager BUT if they find a new man before their final game if gives the new manager time albeit somewhat limited to assess his squad going into close season.
Can imagine that there will be a few interested in the job, so will be interesting to see who gets the role.
Our former player and ex Crewe manager Dave Artell could be amongst those interested....
