Couldn't give a stuff what others may think but Cole is doing his best to ensure we stay in EFL1 and it's about time some people got off his back and supported him rather than their childish criticism.....just because he wanted to earn a few pennies more.....and who wouldn't do the same in what is such a sort career for a pro footballer....

His sulking is one of the reasons we are in this position.
Don't care if he scores 10 in the next 2 games he can still do one.
He embarrassed himself and the club for months.

Yep..totally agree...their are another 10 men on the pitch that have been, for the most part, trying to ensure we remain a League One club.. but this bloke always seems to claim the limelight for poking a pigs bladder into the back of the net when he's done sod all for the majority of the season...

He's supposed to be a professional footballer ...the behaviour he's shown at times has lacked any form of professionalism...

I'm delighted to see him actually earning his wages today and three goals in two games demonstrate that he is still a quality player. But, for the vast majority of the season, he couldn't be bothered. Perhaps, having seen his attitude, there aren't even any 'rumours' of a job elsewhere next season, so he'd better get his head straight, to at minimum get an offer with us?

If he's going to give 100% to Morecambe for the next two games and then decides to stay with us, then great, BUT he still has to win fans over once more. I blame his agent &/or advisors, because they obviously got inside his head. If we're relegated, his sulking will be a huge part of the reason. I'll be supporting him 100% next week, and hope he scores a hat-trick, but a lot of his 'hero shine' has gone.

So how did that work out then?

His quality was never in doubt but his conduct and effort had to be questionned. His goals this season could be as important as last seasons but it didn't have to be this way.

Dereks interview is interesting. He says Cole is a "target man with an eye for goal" which might be different to how Cole sees himself.
