I'm delighted to see him actually earning his wages today and three goals in two games demonstrate that he is still a quality player. But, for the vast majority of the season, he couldn't be bothered. Perhaps, having seen his attitude, there aren't even any 'rumours' of a job elsewhere next season, so he'd better get his head straight, to at minimum get an offer with us?
If he's going to give 100% to Morecambe for the next two games and then decides to stay with us, then great, BUT he still has to win fans over once more. I blame his agent &/or advisors, because they obviously got inside his head. If we're relegated, his sulking will be a huge part of the reason. I'll be supporting him 100% next week, and hope he scores a hat-trick, but a lot of his '
hero shine' has gone.
