I'd be amazed if that was the case. Seven years out of football management and never managed a Football League club. If you were looking in that direction, someone like Dave Artell, who has League One & Two experience as a manager, and a history with Morecambe, but I'd expect if Derek goes, we'd advertise again.
I'm sure Jim still has a lot of friends at the club.
I have ultimate respect for Jim Harvey, but I am a strong believer in "never going back". We need to move forward, not backwards. Rod said there was a lot of interest when Jimbo resigned and when Derek left the first time. So assuming the ownership fiasco is resolved, the club needs to cast their net wide, advertise the manager's position and see who we can get. (Assuming Derek isn't staying that is!). I'd say the same if there was any possibility of Jimbo coming back - no thanks. And I also think it was a mistake for Derek to come back.
I also feel the same about "never going back" in other walks of life. I've "gone back" to an ex-girlfriend and "gone back" to an ex-employer, and neither was successful - the reasons you left in the first place are usually still there, festering under the surface, despite promises, changes in circumstances, etc. Just no!
