Not often I agree with you but you're spot on. What have they been doing in training? If Saturday gets cancelled for the same reason. Then we really need start to worry. Think we can all assume we have nobody in on trial either which is worrying.

I still don't understand why DA has accepted an extended contract after last season unless he has obtained cast iron assurances that he is getting the financial backing he needs. The season tickets have gone well so there must be some money available to at least get a reasonable team together.

He will have accepted the ofter as there probably wasn't anything else. He's probably still on a salary most of us could only dream of and at least he's got a bit of security. He is also able to dictate all football activities with a board that gives him their backing, albeit not financially.
