I suspect this is crap news for us. Sky will be falling over their favourites, who will receive even more cash, while teams like Morecambe will only ever appear when playing a favourite, so the have's will get more and the have-not's will get an occasional scrap. And the ban on 3pm games being shown live remains.

They could have scrapped that rule, then made every game available over the internet. They could have sold subscriptions and split the money paid equally. I can't see this being good for us. We may get [say] 15% more income from broadcasting rights, but if Wrexham/Stockport/Notts County (or the equivalent media darlings in the league at that time) get 150% more, then the ability to compete on a level playing field just gets further away.

Not sure. If iFollow haven't got anything in the domestic market, it may not be possible, as they'd have to use Sky's feed, I'd guess? Will Sky allow something?

Quite right Keith but the fact is that Sky will want as many people as possible watching the games the show and, like it or not, we (and many others) are not a big attraction for the majority of people.

But the 'product' belongs to the EFL, they don't have to agree. Or, they could have come up with a fairer way to spread the money around. We'll soon have a similar structure to the Premier League, where, barring an oil billionaire [state] sports-washing their cash, there will be a set structure throughout the game.

100% agree. Tyson has a Netflix (or similar) programme, so again, lots of media coverage. It's a shame it wasn't a realistic option, perhaps the club could get him down for some games as 'guest of honour' and see if he gets the bug? Regardless, at the moment, we'll again be getting the crumbs and be at even more of a disadvantage.

Also, a big disruption to when the games will be played. Friday nights, Saturday evenings,Sundays and Monday evenings. I hate it when a fixture is changed from a traditional 3pm kick-off on a Saturday. Supporters book leave, transport etc for a Saturday and then have the fixture changed, often at short notice.
