Hi to you all, Walsall fan here for one week only ! I join all the opponents forums just for a week so that i can chat and maybe have the banter with you guys. So, my prediction is a 2-0 away win ! We have basically a new team and a new manager but the optimism is high and i feel as though we might just achieve something this season. Respect to you as i know this Saturdays game is not going to be easy. Good luck for the rest of the season and will chat with you over the next few days ! UTS (Saddlers).

I see a lot of Saddlers fans are assuming Morecambe will be an easy 3 points on the opening day. I think that's a wrong impression of what we've got here.

As I understand it Walsall have an impressive, but newly formed strike force of aging veterans; a reasonable L2 defence; and a very young and inexperienced midfield.

Yann Songo'o was on loan there last year and I don't think he impressed. He's back with Derek now and he always gets the best from Yann.

From what I've seen of our squad in pre-season, I'd be surprised if Morecambe don't get all 3 points from an average L2 Walsall on Saturday. Put me down for an outrageous 4-1 home win and over 4,000 crowd. I might even fancy Songo'o to get a tap in.
Who'd want to smell like you?

At 1650 tomorrow afternoon we're all going to be singing in the rain, after witnessing an outrageous quality performance and 5-0 scoreline.

It would be ironic if you were correct, and headed the prediction competition on Sunday morning!

So how did that work out then?

Positivity central here.

Mrs A 2-1
Spirit of the Lionesses for me 6-1 (and I've barely touched my first pint  ). And no, after the last few seasons I don't care about the prediction league, as I never get anywhere anyway.
