In league one its down by 5.5% and in league two by 3.9%.
Even the premiership dropped by 2.1%, its hardly surprising though in the current economic climate in fact i would have thought the drop would have been greater.
Yes, agree with that. Also the fact that "New kids on the block" Clubs have had large injections of capital boosting them up the Leagues (a la Wigan, Hull, Stoke, Portsmouth, Fulham etc.) taking the place of ex. top Clubs (Leeds, Leicester, Norwich, Charlton, Southampton) and now there are many ex-top flight clubs with good followings in the Championship, League 1 and even League 2
.
Thing is with the Premiership inparticular how many are real fans and not just on freebie tickets or hand downs? Sponsorship and hospitality freebies will definately be further on the way down as businesses look to ways of cutting costs.
