To be fair it was always going to be a tough start (Walsall, Mansfield, Notts County and Bradford in 1st 4 games)

Mansfield team have been together for quite a while now as well

No excuse - just saying how it is

Yes, so crap it hit Mary in the face on row "P" !!!

Wonder if it would help if we put a picture of Mary in the back of the goal , just a thought :?

It’s pretty clear dereks style of play away from home is an ultra defensive one. Unfortunately this is going to put massive pressure on our home form. I think
League 2 this year is much stronger than when we got promoted to league 1 a few years ago. I just hope he will be more positive away from home though somehow I doubt that’s going to happen!

Watching that today if we'd been more positive and pushed on they would have simply played through us and completely destroyed us. None of our front three can hold the ball up and Mansfield were streets ahead of us all over the pitch. We don't have a Cole Stockton type anymore who can retain the ball up top and it shows.

I agree that if we are to stop up this season it will be down to home form again. After today I really fear the worst. Allegedly Bond Group aren't going to support us with additional funding so it's probably down to the squad we have or slightly more of the same. Hope DA can turn it around but on todays performance it's a mountain to climb.

A sobering result. Surely anyone who thought we were dark horses for finishing towards the top of the table is now having a serious re-think.

I appreciate they're a good side. But if that's the way were gonna set up away from home this season, then honestly what is the point?

It does make me worried that we’re going to have a repeat of last seasons away form where we cower in our own half all game and lose every away fixture.
