Excellent performance - thought that was a hugely engrossing tactical battle. County changed shape a couple of times but still couldn't get the better of us.
Managed the press expertly - let their players have the ball in non-dangerous areas while blocking off routes forward. Yes, their goalkeeper had lots of the ball, but he did basically nothing with it as he had no options. It was a clear plan and worked very well. Half his kicks went straight out, the other half landed on Rawson's head. Baffling to have so many people shout at our players to close down the keeper. If we do that, then there's a spare defender/midfielder free to take the ball to feet and drive into a more dangerous area.

Yep! Think it was a plan to deal with Mansfield's unusual set-up in their diamond, but didn't work out well.
