Yes, should have been Mellon.
Maybe Songo'o another possibility
Certainly not Love :o - were the sponsors actually watching the game, or just drinking in the bar?!

To be fair. The 4 of us stood together today all said a different player. Which is only a good thing.

But seriously...Love...the linesman Richard Woodward did a better job. He must be having a day off from being on Police Interceptors on Channel 5...

Yes of course you can have an opinion like everyone can

But Love is the captain and we should get behind him and the whole team

Maybe he won't win any awards for player of the year etc but he's trying his best

The sponsors are a Morecambe Company who are owned by Bradford City fans.

Their managing director said they have seen how much stick Love has received from his own supporters and felt it would be good for his confidence to be MOTM. I think that's rather a good sentiment from a rival supporter. Michael Mellon is likely to win a few MOTM awards in his Morecambe career so stop the hate for Donald Love.

Thought Yann had a good game in the thick of it,was worried he may get sent off after he got booked

Nice touch by the Bradford fans applauding him when he went off

Excellent sentiment. Love could score four and make three goal-line clearances, and some would still complain about a misplaced pass, that went out of play. He had a good, solid game yesterday, and put in a couple of really decent crosses. He wouldn't have been my choice for MotM, but I was actually pleased it went to a defender, so I wouldn't say it was an "insult to Mellon", as I didn't think he was MotM, despite an excellent game. Personally, I'd have given it to Rawson, but there wasn't a poor performance from anyone.

So how did that work out then?
