Well deserved win. Australia defended in depth and broke quickly but were outplayed. Hemp was outstanding. They say never change a winning team but I suspect James will be back.

Hemp will play, converted left winger playing as a 10, Toone, who had a great game, is the obvious one for James to replace as they replicate. But agree, Toone should start.

After decrying the women's game for long enough I have to admit I am now a convert. If we actually win the World Cup on Sunday it will be a massive boost for all English football clubs.

Come on the Lionesses! Ticker tape parade through London if they bring the cup home!

Really! What sort of restrictions were you envisaging? Tie the mens legs together or something? In 2017 the all conquering USA womens team lost 5-2 toDallas boys under 15 development team. Puts it in context that they would struggle big time against men. Just enjoy it for what it is!

Hi Simply
This is not the case. It was a 7 a side tournament made up of retired ex players.
Need to put your statement in its proper context.
Not sticking up for this woman’s World Cup as the standard of football is appalling but need to get facts correct.

Yes that is correct however i was more keen to show the fact that biologically male players are stronger than female players despite players such as the USAs Megan Rapinoe and SVs own redrobo advocating for mixed games.

Rapinoe has now retired incidently, meaning that personally she wouldnt have to play in any such match generally.

Personally i thimk that such a move could prove potentially dangerous due to the mis-match as volleyball showed recently in America

England started really well, but the Spanish really came back strong. A mistake from Bronze, was severely punished.
