It's not the first time nor will it be the last when I'm in a minority of ONE.

All I will say that as and if OUR club call out to the fans for financial assistance (for whatever reason or purpose) then I'll be at the front of the queue giving whatever financial help I can..... :D

Did you deliberately make that a short queue? ;)

Once again, It's not OUR club, it's JASON'S club.

If he asked for help with wages, would you donate to him? Really? That would go into his pocket via him not having to put in.

If you buy merchandise or a pie or a pint, that goes into the club where he cant get hold of it. ;) ;) ;)

If the fans raised £500,000 and the Trust bought a stake in the club, we would still have exactly the same influence as we have now. There may be value in fund-raising, but it wouldn't be to 'buy in' to the club, at this moment in time, as we'd just be donating our money to the pawn-brokers.

Keith, I apologise for not being precise enough. I was meaning to keep collecting each and every home match until we have raised the amount required to see off Bond and have a fans owned club. Yes this could take years, but as I mentioned, it would show our intent and possibly attract a hacker with the money to help in short term. But as someone else on this thread has stated 'to do nothing', then nothing positive will come of the present situation IMHO. We must get something going. I would just prefer it to come from an official source.

Agree with this sentiment. Best way to help the club in my opinion has always been to get there and little bit earlier, stay a little bit later and spend some money in the club bar and occasionally the club shop. Bring some mates along too.

Now in terms of the money to cover this 125% of wages, does Jason have to pay this in himself personally or can it be taken from the clubs current budget?

I doubt if we could ever reach that level of funding. As you say, it would take years, and I doubt the club could last that long under its current ownership farce. But, having a plan for the eventuality where we need to start again would definitely make sense.

We had all this with the fiasco when PMG sold out. Lots of good intentions about the Trust and potential to fund-raise to buy the club etc whilst the ownership fiasco played out. Such a shame it all died out and all the impetus and progress just withered away. It was obvious Jason/Colin were just in it for a short term profit - they said as much at the time, so the fans, board, trust etc should have been planning for the "next" ownership fiasco, which we're going through now. It's too late to start fund raising etc., when we're deep in the brown smelly stuff. Let's be realistic, even if a white knight sweeps in to buy the club, such as Fury, it'll only be short term and in a few years, it'll be up for sale again when either they run out of money or get bored. It WILL take years for fans to fund raise enough money to be serious potential buyers via the trust, the existing board, or another fans group, so unless it's started soon enough (long before the next ownership fiasco), it'll simply never happen.

The latest club statement clearly says the potential deduction will be knocked off our points total, ie June 24.

Twitchy scenario if we end the season 2 points ahead of the bottom 2

The statement actually says...."should there be a none payment again before June 24"....the points would be deducted.

The italics are mine.

Having read the details of the Agreed Decision it states that Jason will deposit the required money within 2 normal working days of the date of the agreement. I wonder if this has been done?
