Imminent takeover

Postby Billy bodger » Mon Aug 21, 2023 2:02 pm

The word is someone is chomping at the bit to take over and it’s imminent, apparently. We’ve herd this before, so do we make anything of this or not. Anyone any more info?

Not heard anything but with Jason being here last Tuesday it must have been for something more than a routine agenda or to enjoy watching the Shrimps playing !

I think it's common knowledge that there was a bid from a local now Nationwide company that didn't at the time meet with Bond Groups valuation.

Times however have changed and it's about time that the Bond Group got real and accept that what they want is out of the ball park and that they should now lower their expectations and sell ASAP otherwise their investment will reduce at a rapid rate

:(

Redrobo, do you mean two bids from different companies, or that the local company have expanded...Just curious.

I'm guessing it's Mazuma which started off as Mopay.

I think it will have to be a bigger company than Mazuma that buys the shares judging by the last accounts filed at Companies House by Mazuma Mobile Limited.

On the other hand, Mazuma's parent company EcoRenew Group have a turnover in excess of $300 in 2018.

Not that that means anything necessarily.....!

If $300 is enough to buy the club, we can go back to Red Robbo for his £50 and raise enough to buy it by the end of today!!!
