A remember getting back from the game and someone sending me this picture. I thought at the time it was a penalty and straight red.
I really do believe that Newcastle would have fallen apart if they had gone behind, especially going down to 10 men, as they were on a bad little run at the time.
I know they say that these things balance out over time but it really doesn't feel like it.

Plus, their fans were already turning on them and many wanted Alan Pardew sacked. If we'd scored the penalty against ten men, I agree, they would have collapsed. We were well on top at that time. Unfortunately, we never got the break we deserved and we ran out of legs towards the end of the game.
