Shocking comment.

Be prepared for the response you will rightfully receive.

Over to you, Keith.

I did actually respond, but then decided, when a troll is so obvious, that they announce it in their user name, I don't want to bother, so deleted it. It's not a discussion or debate that "Argumentative" wants, but as "Old Man Kensey" points out, it is just intentended to drag the forum down to Facebook level.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Not on Facebook.in fact avoid tge internet as much as possible as it’s either full of rubbish, untruths or pictures you don’t want to show to the vicar. Pity as it had the potential for so much good. So my question is what’s a troll apart from a mythical Scandinavian beast. Or is that what I am being accused of.

The Dukes is mostly funded by grants (governmental, county and city councils), donations and legacies, with pretty low levels of "trading" income.

The Grand is more of a "trading" business, and generates most of its income from shows and renting out the theatre.

Both are registered charities.

Would it make sense to move "The Dukes" to The Winter Gardens at some time , together with the grants of course. They would get a massive theatre to perform their shows etc and contribute to making the Winter Gardens viable.

Funny how the city and county councils have been happy to bankroll the Dukes but refused to support grant applications for the WG!
