I think that's just his nature! When Thommo had that early chance but got the ball stuck under his feet, I agreed with Birtles saying he should've taken it earlier and I'd expect Nigel Adkins to have said the same thing! It's called encouragement!

I think you're right. Perhaps if there'd been more chances, his miss wouldn't have been highlighted so much.

I thought he had a poor game. I always thought he played Hot and cold (a bit lazy at times!) and he definately looked lazy tonight. I think morecambe sold at the right time! although he would probably fit into our team at the moment, but we do want to improve our team.
