According to a Tweet on their Twitter he is off to manage FC United of Manchester. His assistant manager and also his goalkeeping coach are also leaving.

If they do go to FCUM no doubt he will be back for the City players such as ex Shrimps The Bailey brothers.

It was a Tweet so probably about as accurate as some of those on Facebook wanting Kevin Ellison or Gary Bowyer to manage the Shrimps.

Maybe Mark Fell has left "to pursue other opportunities" like Derek did

VERY interesting statement released by Mark Fell last night.

Was offered a job elsewhere in the summer, he turned it down to stay at Lancaster on the promise of a new deal.

That deal was then WITHDRAWN by the City board.

Fell was only paid £100 to manage the club

However, and here's the interesting bit, (quote), "I haven't been paid by the club for over a year. And, I wasn't paid that for at least half the time I was manager there." Which is four years.
