So you say "too early to judge" then proceed to do just that , absolute tripe.

January recruitment (in and out) will show us whether this is a good appointment.
Who'd want to smell like you?

January might be a bit more promising with a few quid in cup money in the offing, 3 games in and Ged Brannon gphas given us cause for optimism.

I think there will be ins and outs in January. Hopefully some cup money will allow some budget for Ged and he will benefit from Greg Strong who will already be eying up players

That's assuming that he will still be with us and more importantly that GB wants his input rather than have his own man doing the recruitment work.

I quite like the thought of somebody like Greg becoming the Director of football/Sporting Director and let Ged concentrate on the coaching side of things. Derek had the experience to run the club from top to bottom but it may be too much for first time Manager.

I think we need to remember that Ged is in his first senior management role. Massive step up from managing Accrington U23's so he's no doubt on a massive learning curve. There is merit in giving him as much support as he needs and I'm sure Ged and the directors are fully aware of this and will do everything possible to help him succeed.

One things for sure I think EFL2 is as tough as it's been for many seasons. There will be blips along the way that's for sure, so we as fans need to do our bit and support him and the team to the best of our ability.
