Away Ticket Help

Away Ticket Help

Postby Joe Oh » Thu Dec 14, 2023 10:06 am

I bought my first online away ticket this week. For the Doncaster match and then the Bradford match as well. I've just bought them on the day in the past.

Got the e-mail from the club and there's a link to "Print / Download your ticket" but it just goes to a blank page.

Also, I'm paying £2.50 for shipping somehow. Does that mean they're posting them to me?

Does anyone know how I am supposed to actually get hold of my ticket? It's so much easier for home matches with that e-mail attachment.

Eventually found a contact page and sent them my order number. They sent me another e-mail with a link that actually works.

Great ticketing system!

You sure that's all legit? I didn't know you could download tickets, in my experience they've either been posted out or collected in person at the ticket office. You can also usually collect at the away clubs ticket office but I've never seen it offered to download them.

When the club initially had an online ticketing system, the QR code that was generated for AWAY tickets were invalid and did not work at the turnstiles. I would ring (01524 411797) or email (tickets@morecambefc.com) the club to check - but I would assume that you still need a physical ticket. If you have paid for shipping then these should be posted to you.

There's been all sorts of variations for me. I've never been able to order with my registered email address as the system says I'm not a member. Sometimes when i have rung up they do send an e ticket, but for Bradford it apparently has to be a ticket ticket and I had to collect it.

Have heard that people have ordered tickets to collect at the away ground and also collect at our club, but also get charged postage :?

Natalie seems to be on the ball now :D

Thanks for the replies.

The downloaded tickets all worked fine in the end and when I got home, the physical tickets had arrived in the post.

Not the clearest system at all.

Fingers crossed they get the Bradford tickets posted in time.
