Doncaster are in it more since the substitutions. We need to keep tight at the back.

We were looking a bit sloppy for a while, but what a cracking response. Helping the goal difference now.

Stats so far show that we've had 12 shots with 8 on target..... :o

When was the last time we had 8 on target.....madness....

Looks as though GB is playing a far more pressing game than we are used to. Long may that continue.

:) :) :)

Doncaster commentary:

"We don't seem to do well against those west coast teams, Morecambe, Blackpool, Fleetwood"
"Accrington"
"That's not on the coast"
"Well. it's over that way... ...geography isn't my strong suit"

Watched it twice, still not sure how Mellon managed to finish from that angle & position?

Excellent stuff!

Fantastic result. Doncaster didn't offer much, but that doesn't take anything away from the brilliant performance by the MORECAMBE SUPER REDS.

She was good. Two decent refs on the trot, that doesn't happen often!

Lots of good performances today. Difficult to pick a MotM. Mellon, obviously a shout, having scored two, or Tutonda, having scored one and set one up, as well as looking solid in defence. Songo'o looking very solid in midfield & Bedeau, getting a goal, and very strong defensive performance.

But, I'd go for King as my MotM, who was excellent, possibly his best game in a Morecambe shirt?

:geek: It certainly is! A quick scan through https://www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.sd?team_id=1732&comp_id=4&teamTabs=results confirms this and reveals the following next-best...

Two 4-0s, on our last visit to the Darlington Arena on 24/11/09 and then at Vale Park on 22/10/11;

We did score five in a 5-2 win over Wimbledon at Kingsmeadow on 17/10/15.

Woke up this morning and I'd had this wonderful dream (no not that one!) where I'd forecast we'd draw and we actually won 5-0!
