The money was used in SEPTEMBER and not replaced. This could be why DA was talking about a plan to get us to the Championship one month and then leaving us the next month. Can anyone blame him?????

Where did the money go???

We're deep in the sh*t now

I thought the board said the Jason couldn't remove funds from the club without their say so?

I think the boards position is pretty much untenable now.

The more we get to know about Jason and Co the more I fear for our club's survival in EFL2.

Things are going well on the field but off the field the way Jason is acting must question as to WHY?

What can he seriously gain from being such a 'dick' . All he has to do is reduce his asking price to a sensible figure and walk away....but NO....he appears intent on dragging our club down for unknown reasons....

The survival of our club is paramount and i wonder if what was suggested to me at the last home game that going into administration with all its consequences wasn't such a bad idea after all.

I suggested a week or so ago that we should have some kind of protest at the Swansea game ie Banners etc.

With the game being shown on Welsh TV and overseas it would bring attention to our clubs plight and expose both Jason and The Bond Group for what they are.....    #

I suspect the reasoning for our BoDs statement a few weeks ago was driven in part by the news that Jason and Co have taken back the EFL Payment for his / Bond Group own use and the news that Bond Group will act to defend the issue fills me with horror. They will act in their own interests and NOT I fear with that of our club....

Jason is Bond Group, he is the only Director.

We as fans need to get organised and get things done.

I still can't see how any action on the fans part would have made any difference unless we sent an assassin round there. As this problem has been ongoing since September I'm surprised the Board have stuck with it until now. It must be a nightmare for them.

Time for action. We need a coordinated response from the Trust to get this on the national media agenda. I don't agree with disrupting matches but a banner for the home end would also be a good start.

Worcester Warriors made the national news but it did not help them.

We would never forgive ourselves if we stand by and watch the destruction of our club. We must do something! I hope the Trust can organise protests to voice our frustrations and get us National publicity against a cowboy owner. It is surely time for action!!!

But at least they made the effort and didn't sit on their hands like we are doing! At least they made a fight of it rather than our fans who are happy to have their pants pulled down by this idiot. We are being dragged through the mud and the majority of our fans are happy to let it happen.

I'd be behind any kind of protest. Although don't pin your hopes on it making any difference whatsoever. It didn't do a thing for Bury or Macclesfield, in the end we have zero say in what Jason does or doesn't do. It would be a focus point for the fans but little more.

I don't think people are under any illusions about the outcome of a protest, it won't change things but it will get our message out there. We need to make people aware of Jason Whittingham and what he is. We need to drag his name through the mud, make it effect his life. We need to have a negative impact on him as a person without it damaging the club.

Agree with this BW. It should be led by the Trust and I have e-mailed them to ask for an update from them.
So far as action is concerned (with or without the Trust's lead) I can do little physically myself as I live so far away but I can donate money as needed.

I hope the Club defend its self separately from Jason. I know that sounds daft but the club should keep a distance from the owner and their financial situation. The BoD and the Club should robustly defend its self against the change against the club and not get involved with the charges against Jason as owner. Who deposited the money? Who took it out? As fans we are in the dark about those answers, but on the EFL website it says Mr Whittingham after requests from them has failed to re-deposit the said funds. What ever the answers to the above it is clear Jason would have known the money had to be re deposited and should have implemented that. What can the BOD and its executives do if Jason does not do as he is asked!!
Section 7 (a)i states the club owner has to pay the money into the SEPERATED Club Deposit Account. Section 7(b) states it’s Jason’s personal responsibility to procure the deposits and failure will result in the suspended sanctions of Section 7(a) being triggered and possible misconduct charges against Mr Whittingham being brought. “And here we are”.

Owners can be forced to sell their club by the EFL. So is this latest financial misconduct charge enough for the league to implement the rule? I would think not, let’s hope thou Morecambe FC are not deducted more points than the 3, that will most likely now happen. The league may put into place further points deduction if it happens again before the end of the season.

I don't trust the Bond Group to act on behalf of the club so I agree 100% with the above and that our BoDs seek an experienced legal team to act on behalf of the club at any forthcoming hearing.

It may cost a bob or two to get an independent legal team but can I suggest as that we the fans start a fighting fund to support the BoDs in whatever action they decide.

Maybe such a fund could be governed by the Trust and I would gladly start by donating £50....this is something that as fans we can do to help our club and its BoDs.

Yes, in a designated account that the Club can access when required , the issue is it wasn't replenished

That’s what I am alluding to and the EFL website statement on the original misconduct charge and this one seems to indicate that is how the 125% should be payed into a separate account. The club thou still faces a charge because of Jason’s actions or non actions and that needs defended separately by the club, if that’s possible!!

Just a suggestion...but why not leave it to our BOD...any form of protest might jeopardise their position. We are all in this fight together. I for one trust them implicitly...
