So, what do you think we have made from our run to R3?

Prize money £108,000

Share of 3 gates , hard to say as they have to deduct V.A.T. and match expenses. Possibly £50,000 ish

T.V. fee for Swansea game. Nobody seems to have put a figure on it. Not as much as a terrestial match fee , could be £40,000.

I would say circa £200,000

We will have incurred some expenses that would have to be paid from the F.A.Cup income though. Probably 2 or maybe 3 hotel stop/overs which aren't cheap. Possibly travelled on the matchday to Lincoln.

I might be wrong but I remember Andy Holt releasing a balance sheet for an FA Cup game and it mentioned the home team paying for the away teams travel and hotel.

Here's how it works:
Bond Group are quoted as agreeing to provide extra funds over and above forecast income for this season.
If actual income covers or exceeds budgeted expenses because we've had more ticket sales; Cup run; player sales or off pitch activities then the top up funds from Bond Group aren't and won't be needed.
It would be in Bond Group's interest to leave a surplus in to easily provide extra funds for next season.
It's not unreasonable for Bond Group to take out a surplus but they'd need Board approval and I'm sure the Board would put forward a robust case for leaving it in.

From what I understand our income from ticket sales has been over budget; we've had a good cup run; off pitch income has been strong and there's potential for income from player sales which all bodes well for next season.
Who'd want to smell like you?

Just trying to work out our income for the cup run.

Round 1 winners - £41,000
Round 2 winners - £67,000

Roughly £20,700 from Lincoln and £9000 from Wycombe for gate receipts.

Tickets were sold fairly cheap for Swansea, £5 for kids and £10 for adults. 7670 attendance so go with £7 a ticket, times by our 45% share and that's netted us roughly £24,000.

£161,700 so far.

I think it's generally £100,000 when being selected for TV but as it was overseas it's probably fair to assume this was much less. £40,000 is probably a reasonable guess so I'll go with that.

In total it's probably fair to say this run landed us somewhere in the region of £200,000. Not too shabby.

Less the cost of 3 stopovers for 20+ people?

Presume we didn't do Lincoln and Wycombe in a day?

Not much change out of £15K for that little lot
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Swansea have got Bournemouth away so not a big money loss.

Newport are at home to Man United or Wigan Athletic if they win their replay.

Those magnificent Spurs are at home to Man. City.

Just out of interest would we have had the same number as Swansea had we got through. Not sure how the numbering system works.

Yes , in the FA Cup the tie from the 3rd round is assigned a number for the 4th round so we know we would have played Bournemouth away had we won at Swansea. The draw was made before Wigan played Man Ure so they knew who they were playing before their game. It's the same in all the rounds.

So all of our ties would have been away from home!
