Charlie Brown

Doubt many thought that MM would score as many as he has this season.

I just wonder if Charlie Brown was given an extended run he could be the ideal replacement for MM so saving the club some money to bring another striker in... :?: :?: :?:

CB is a skillful player and really hasn't been given an opportunity to show what he can do. Maybe now is his moment..... :?: :?: :?:

Prolific goal scorer whilst at Chelsea in their U18, U19 and U23 teams. 53 goals in 108 appearances.
So he does know where the net is BUT just needs game time with us to rekindle that goal scoring record.

Chuffed to bits for Charlie Brown getting his first goal for us on Saturday. He's waited in the wings for his opportunity and should hopefully now be fit and firing for the remainder of the season. Based on his goal scoring record for previous clubs he probably won't be as prolific as MM but a useful replacement all the same.

Why not post the opinions on the protest in the appropriate thread where it would be much more valuable instead of in this one ?

I hope Brown gets a run of games for us now. Given that he apparently trains really well and has a good attitude, I’ve really struggled to understand why he’s not been given a chance until now.

I did wonder if he just doesn’t fit into our usual system (is he a striker that needs to play alongside a target man?) but of course why did we sign him if that was the case.

nice goal yesterday by Charlie

just a quick reminder of his potential ((
Brown spent his early years with the academy of Ipswich Town before joining Chelsea in 2016. He was a prolific goalscorer for the club's academy teams and development squad, scoring 53 goals in 108 appearances for Chelsea's U18, U19 and U23 sides.))

just hope we can give him a good run in the team.

We can but it depends whether Ged sees him as a 90 mins man.

like on previous posts, he does look too lightweight to play upfront on his own but if you put in a front two with Ged Garner, bit like Jevons & Mullin when when gate crashed the play-offs some years ago.
