An important game for both clubs so correct decision taken. The game would have been a lottery which nobody would have wanted.

Can't recall a game at the Maz being called off due to water on the pitch as I thought that the drainage was one of the excellent things about our pitch. Just goes to show how strong the recent unprecedented storms are with wide spread damage throughout the country.

It’s raining heavy again we need a dry day tomorrow, really don’t want another game postponed.
I’ve not heard anything on appointing a new head groundsman, if it was waterlogged Tues night it will need some work on it.

I hope the Club is working to get it played.

A mate of mine sent me a clip of a match in the 1970's, Man City v West Ham. Much of the pitch was thick mud. The City goal kicked the ball out straight to a Hammers player who lobbed it back towards the goal and the goalie was floundering in the mud trying to get back....no chance They were real men in those days not the prima donnas we have today. Did you play football in the mud at school...of course you did!
