Agreed. We have not played as a team all game. A very poor showing. I would be grateful for a draw now but I can't see it happening. (Cue for Morecambe to score?)

Fair assessment. We're very disjointed. Difficult to pick a MotM for us when they've all been so poor.

Outplayed.
Never looked like taking anything from the game. Made to look like a relegation threatened team. All the confidence I was building up following recent performances has taken a big dent.

Colchester are one of the worst sides I've seen this season.

Obviously, not the worst, because they were better than us.

Missed penalty may have changed things, but basically, we got what we deserved.

Ged just said on Radio Lancs that some players were jogging about in the 1st half

That's simply not good enough at any level

Also said Senior and Edwards would be back next week

Well that was s#@£e to watch
plus points from the game :-
Taylor came through another game,

Minus points
Four centre half’s at the back
Harrack not a right back got caught out loads by their 42
with Crowley shout take him on he cannot live with you he was right to be fair
Slew jogging about
Garner see why barrow wanted rid

On that performance we’ll be lucky to stay up

Woeful. The odd away win might cover the cracks for a bit but has a good side ever been ruined so quickly?

Players playing here there and every except from where they should be playing. We are not getting better despite the hype. That was dog shit, the sort of dog shit we watched before King Derek showed us different. We will get what we deserve for showing zero ambition.

We need 3 or 4 wins to stay up which im sure we will get somewhere along the line

Thankfully only 2 relegation spots in league 2

Colchester were a really poor side but they seem to have team spirit and a management team who know how to set them up.

Disjointed performance from us - so much seemed to be wrong. We tried and failed to play through their press all game long (what was the point in putting Faz up front in the dying minutes and then continuing to try and knock it around at the back?)

We are missing the players like JJ and King who could come deep to get the ball, turn and play through a press.

A bad day at the office and hopefully one to move on from quickly. Charlie Brown simply must start up front in the next game though, and should be our penalty taker. I felt confident when he picked up the ball for the pen and then immediately lost my confidence when he handed it to Garner…

Today was Jimbo football at its finest it was like what we used to see every week's in Jim's last couple of years.

Not sure what's happened to this high press ged said he likes to play.

I said earlier in the week that there is no easy game in League 2

Games coming up against the likes of Crawley, Walsall and Sutton will be just as tough as Stockport or Notts County

If we are not up for these games we will get beaten just like today simple fact

Still need to find app 13 points from last 19 games to get the magic 50

Slew is an embarrassment to professional football. How he even makes the 11 even with our slim pickings is beyond me.

We missed Mayor down the left today. How long is his ban ?

Tutondra should be starting.

We look woeful up front , Garner needs to put himself about and drag defenders around.

Went in the stand today and the number of times I heard “get in the box” shouted today, only to be told it wasn’t at our forwards for a cross or corner it was aimed towards Colchester’s, Cowley twins, telling them to get back into the technical area.
