Adam is a very very good player and still young but 1 thing that worries me about him is his discipline

Picked up his 10th yellow card of the season tonight which seems a lot for a winger

playing on the left wing he does track back a lot helping out defending to be fair, unlike other’s we've had iver the seasons.

however i think his form as dipped, like his head might of been turned and wouldn't be surprised if he goes in this transfer window.

Doesn’t 10 yellows mean a two game suspension?

The rumours I heard was that Blackpool were interested and their first offer was rejected and that they have come back with another offer. He clearly wants to play at a higher level, would he get enough play time at another club, he certainly will get more money. We have him for another 18 months so do we keep him or cash in? The club needs the money plane and simple, don’t make the same mistake as we did with Stockton.

He’s on peanuts at present as it was his 1st pro deal with us so whether he stays (no chance) or goes now, in the summer or next year his salary will jump significantly so he will finally get what he deserves and well done him

pretty sure its Adam’s 2nd pro deal, with us giving him a 3yr deal at the start of last season after an impressive start to his Morecambe career?

Nope
If memory serves me right (but could be a little hazy) released by PNE, signed to our academy around 2020 ish then 2022 signed his 1st pro deal, 3 year contract with us until 2025 and so wage will be tiny in comparison with others

i seem to think we gave him an improved deal in order to tie him down longer, protecting our investment to get a bigger transfer fee?

no doubt somebody will reply who knows for sure.

Contracted to Summer 2025. Nothing less than £500,000 then? In which case we have a chance of keeping him until this Summer. :D

Adam as had 9 yellow (league)

2 yellow (cups)

Does suspension just count for league games

If so he's 1 more yellow card off a 2 match ban

Should be a good price and add on clause. Sorry to see him go but it was always likely.

Does that leave us with zero players under contract at the end of the season?

Think so, although heard it a few times that we hold options for second years on some like JJ and hopefully Senior. Assume a few of the youth players that we've seen around the first team might be on longer contracts although I have no clue how scholar contracts (think that's what they're called) work.

Hopefully, Mayor going will bring in a decent wedge of cash, allowing us to offer new contracts to Bedeau and a few others. Also, the chaos up at Ross County, with their fans already wanting Derek out, may put off some of our lads from following him up there!

So how did that work out then?

Yes, if we can't bring anyone else in now we should be offering extended contracts to avoid last Summer's situation. A question for the Board at the Fans Forum?
