A cruel defeat by Wrexham who were aided by a grossly biased referee. We've had some shocking ref's in the past, but this idiot cost us the game. The lads never gave up, but they were playing against TWELVE.
It got to be that our players daren't make a tackle.

Probably three fouls by Wrexham that didn't get a card, including two where we were breaking, then one soft foul by us, straight to his pocket. I said at the time, "is that really the worst foul of the game?" That set the tone. Anything from us, foul & yellow (red) card, them, play 'advantage'. Two clear fouls for penalties to us, nothing given.

By far, the worst referee I've seen for a long time. Hope he's North West Counties from now on. Dreadful cheat.

Looked again at both of Melbourne's bookings. Both of them were fouls, but neither warranted yellow cards yet we're down to ten men. Shocking refereeing. Oscar winning performance by the ref, for Wrexham that is!

Ref wasn’t great that’s for sure (penalty was a farce, why would you be deliberately putting your hands up to block a ball that was flying well beyond row Z?) but we did gift them the first when they’d hardly had a kick and then for Melbourne to make the challenge when already on a yellow was a bit naive. All in all, another insipid home performance against a team who looked pretty average on the whole (their first half tactics were just hoofball to palmer / mullin), huffing and puffing even after we went down to 10. They would need quite a few quality additions to their squad to compete in league one I think (but it's doubtful they will finish top three this season in any event).

An awful refereeing performance from a very incompetent referee. Nothing will be done about him but you have to ask how did Thomas Parsons get on the league list and how was he given this important game? He was extremely one sided and biased and it made me wonder again if football really is clean or is there corruption spoiling the beautiful game. We have had some awful referees this season but Thomas Parsons really is the worst. If you review the game the 3 or 4 worst tackles were not punished and 2 careless tackles led to 2 yellow cards. Mr. Parsons has no feel for the game and shouldn't be anywhere near the Football League. Throw him out.

I think the ref thought he was going to be on Disney and found out Morecambe had not allowed their cameras in the ground, he was just infuriated at Morecambe because of it. Appalling decisions all game long.
