The only reason we scored yesterday was due to a very poor bit of judgement by the FGR keeper and Brown's natural perseverance.....we had no clear-cut chances during the game, so perhaps 0-2 may have been a fair result.
Based on that Morecambe will score 0 next Saturday. How many Swindon score will very much depend on Archie. His blocking skills yesterday were once again excellent, some of his judgement was questionable, and once again he never wore a cap when the sun was blazing in his eyes in the 2nd half.
I don't think I've ever felt so deflated at the end of a season. The current situation is probably worse than relegation last season. Yesterday, the players were already on the beach, or planning where to play next season. 4-0 and lucky to get 'nil'.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".
David Cameron. May 4th 2015. So how did that work out then?
Fair play to anyone going to this, can't remember the last time I was this uninterested in a game and I'm sure the players feel the same. Zero expectations for this, the players don't care and will just want to get it over with.
Swindon's manger is proposing to play some of their younger players with a view to next season....as those players leaving already know their time is up.
Could be interesting team selections for both clubs....
