Tarnia Elsworth speaks to the BBC about the Shrimps crisis

The Shrimps Trust was supposed to meet with our esteemed owner last Tuesday. He pulled–out. So they are going to give it another go tonight. Our very own Tarnia Elsworth spoke to the BBC’s “Wake Up To Money” radio programme this morning about the situation at Morecambe and what she hopes to get from speaking directly to Jason Whittingham tonight. Tarnia is a bright lass who knows what she’s talking about. She has promised to update the programme with what happens – listen out for it. You can hear what she said this morning by opening this link and going to 45 minutes 30 seconds in:

Interestingly – perhaps predictably – the BBC has invited Jason to contact them for an interview – or at least a statement. Surprise, surprise, he has bottled this as well...

Sad thing is if Jason keeps refusing to chat with people it's not going to end well

The club should be arranging friendlies etc for next season but not possible as it stands

Really hope and pray that something good happens today but just can't see it

Well done to Tarnia... :D

Interview starts 46.28 for those expecting it to start at 45.30.

Did anybody really expect Jason and his cronies to provide an interview or even a statement... :?: :?: :?:

Well done, Tarnia. Good publicity for the club but things are beginning to look desperate.
