Only ONE pre season game at the Maz..... :o :o :o

Possibly another money saving exercise so they don’t have to pay stewards and staff !!!

I doubt it's that. Assuming the opponents were decent the gate money would more than cover stewards etc. I think it could be that all the teams we asked to come here were booked up already or wanted to play their final friendly on their own ground.

Exactly!, “assuming the opponents were decent” by which I assume you mean a big name that would pull in a decent crowd ? , which other than Blackburn they are not . I rest my case !

Bit of a lackluster pre-season schedule really, not really excited by any of them

We probably are not a club that is an attractive proposition to test a team in their preseason, so Morecambe a limited opposition.

As posted there are players training with Morecambe but what level are they? (most likely wage restraints will mean we cannot afford really good players!), if enough don’t come to possibly sign for your club you have to lower the fresh-old of ability to fill the squad numbers and that’s a worry.

With JW it is what it is, let’s see what unfolds, but we probably have to have a long wait as we are not told anything about the awful situation we are in.

Pre-season is lack-lustre and nothing really to get excited about any season. It's all about players getting fit and the manager trying different formations out. Anyone expecting to watch classic football matches will be disappointed.

Be interesting to see who plays for us at Kendal , I shall turn up to see as I like Kendal and they deserve some gate money.

Our website shows 19:30, so at least we shouldn't miss kick off!

Well we were considering a home friendly against the England squad but they've gone further than expected.

Derek would want a higher standard opposition to really test us though! :D

Just a,reminder that the game v Kendal has a 2pm ko. It is probably a game with predominantly Academy players with the first team squad having its, first outing next Saturdayv Longridge.
