Absolute rubbish compared to how it used to be. Maybe that also sums up Morecambe Football Club

Hopefully doesn't sum up Morecambe FC.

We do seem to be a bit rudderless since Ben Sadler departed.

Also I am very disappointed in the lack of DVD's of the players training and also the friendly matches. We used to have some really good footage , some filmed from a drone , of training , even when we were on Turner's Field and Kenny had cleared off the dog turds and broken glass !

The lack of content from pre-season is underwhelming. With so many new faces to get to know you would think the media team would be producing daily updates/videos to get all the fans excited about the new crop of players and the upcoming season.

I agree with Naylz that media output is very poor, perhaps affected by staff holidays, but a few interviews would be good.We have one home game pre season to get to know the new faces, they should be pulling out all the stops to keep the fans up to date. There seems to be a general malaise around the club!

Have to agree about the lack of content on the OWS but that could be down to inexperience of whoever is responsible for its content BUT we've already had post match interviews with the Gaffer v Longridge and with his assistant manager v Workington on X......

We have not appointed the positions we advertised for have we? Is that one of the reasons? Or is it down to maybe new incoming owners? I agree something not quite right compared to other years. I do how ever believe our season ticket sales are not bad considering and the new range of match shirts training kit, polo shirts etc are selling well and the promo’s on website etc have paid off on that front.

I have finally seen the new away kit and I must say I like it, I do wonder what it would be like with red instead of the blue/green colour!!

And yet, didn't they do well to update the squad web page the day after a massive global IT outage that's grounded planes, closed surgeries and all sorts? Yes they used snaps from the new signings video, but I think you need to cut the media/pr team a b it of slack to be honest. I'm sure it'll get an upgrade when things have settled down. They'll probably do it once Derek's allocated the squad numbers which can't be far off now.

...and Facebook, but not on the club website. This is particularly disappointing given a sizeable proportion of fans won't actually have these social media accounts and this content will not be easily accessible or obvious to them. Like my recent complaint regarding the Shrimps Trust doing the same, I would like to see both organisations prioritising their own people by making sure content is equally and readily available on their own websites rather than just going for the arguably easy option all the time.

I agree with you 100%.

Some people don't seem content unless they can find something to moan about. The club is going through a major transition, and matters seem to be heading in the right direction. I'm sure that some clubs would have simply buckled and gone under.

From my perspective, I'm not one of those people, I can assure you. There's nothing wrong with a bit of constructive criticism when it's felt needed.
