Morecambe 0 Forest 0 LIVE thread

Postby Redalert1970 » Tue Oct 08, 2024 5:17 pm

Very strong line up including Charlie Brown starting

Looks like a poosble 4 4 2

Dackers not in squad - think he is cup tied

Harrack (maybe away with Grenada)

Unsure about Mcadam (hopefully not another injury)

Maybe Brown and Hope as a front two

Let's hope Brown takes his chance. A win, with some cash, would lift spirits.

Two shots, to their six. Both of our shots cleared the stand, by a considerable amount.

If you don't win the prize money with a crowd this size it basically means you switch the lights on at a loss.
Hope the Sky money has covered all of this and been spent wisely

Well, a goal's a goal.

The boys have no interest in celebrating that one though.

Tollitt equaliser. Long shot, big deflection.

[Announcer gave it to Hope but I don't think so]

I just said to my lad people boycott this anyway and now even less people will go with it been on Sky, seems madness!

Have you seen there is now a non league version with under 18 teams from higher up playing.

On the subject of Slew he has been abysmal so far this season. He looks the part but really no athleticism, no ball control and no real enthusiasm. After last season I thought he’d turned a corner and we had a player on our hands. Maybe not. Don’t like criticising individuals but so so disappointing.

Yes we seem to have more than our fair share of walking wounded. How bad are they or do they just not fancy it? We never get any updates about our absent players so it’s anyones guess when they’ll be back.

To be fair to him, he has barely had any support. He works best when there's someone close to him who he can pass it to once he's done his "bit" and won the ball. But this season, he's been very isolated, which is why he has often had to take it right to the goal line and hope it gets a deflection off an opposition player to win a corner.

No replay on iFollow, so not 100% sure what happened. Looked like a save that bounced back into play and somehow was deflected back into the goal. Lots of Morecambe players appealed, but no idea what for.
