Probably appealed for the ref to end the game and save us any further embarrassment!

You may be adding Williams to that list, he's down, getting lengthy treatment.

We ended the first half quite well, but second half, we've gone crap again, struggling to string three passes together. Need to pick this up again.

Our only hope is if some of the Forest kids have to come off early for school in the morning!

Was an own goal.
Wigan go above us on goal difference, so we don't qualify as it stands

I've said this before, this competition should begin as a pre-season tournament. Play the group stages Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday the week before the season starts. Attendances would be the same, if not higher. Weather would be better (no need for floodlights). Kids off school etc. It would also free up time in the actual season.

Instead, at a time when players need resting, we're picking up more injuries.

2-2! Brown after an excellent cross from Lewis!

Thank god for Adam Lewis. A shining light in a dismal season.

As it stands we would just need a draw from the last game

If we can get a winner we would be through if Wigan carry on winning at Carlisle

And we have. Last ten minutes or so, we've been the better side. Forest with a bit of an attack, but we've been looking better.

If it is level, it goes to penalties for a 'bonus point'. That would be enough to guarantee qualifying.

One of the recent winning clubs reckon it was worth about a million pounds.

These Forest youngsters must be truly terrible.

If only we could score this easily in the league.
