Those of us oldies will remember when 621 was a season's high point!

If only we could score this easily in the league.

All they could do was run fast and that was pretty much it. Our quality shone through in the end, thankfully!

Billy bodger wrote:I agree with both Berlin Waller and KenH in that you have to work hard in both training and on the pitch, I thought Charlie put in a shift that in the second half.
I do wonder though about looking at it in the opposite way, that players putting in shifts and looking good in training and not doing it on the pitch in the game. How long do you give them in the team?
I think a balance of the two and your man management skills have to be used when your the manager and when the player gets their chance you has to take it.
If indeed Charlie trains poorly, as a fan you have to ask why. It’s a mentality thing as a player as well and perhaps he hasn’t got that, ‘I will prove you wrong in his personality.’
Perhaps Charlie should look at Harrack and how he had to wait for a start and if he hadn’t got him self suspended I think he would have kept his place against Accrington. He’s away on international duty now so others get their chance.
Dackers should be back Saturday and maybe Charlie will get a start on the right side of midfield or even play off Dackers. It’s up to DW and as for Charlie he needs to knuckle down and prove things differently.
Oh and when he gets on the pitch score a goal, that always helps.

I have to agree, why a footballer doesn’t want to play football, Charlie needs to get himself in the team it’s up to him, whatever it takes and play football.
