We got a touch of luck, a clearance deflected to Tollitt [I think] who knocked it out to Lewis. Lewis's cross was superb, and Tollitt ghosted in-between two defenders and finished well.

Barrow hit the post!

This is going to take an age till the final whistle. The team now have to show they can see a game out. If we are to progress that is something we have to start to do. Let’s see what happens but God fight for those precious 3 points, like you have never fought before.

As it stands, we're out of relegation spots!

Five minutes added on!

Only, it will be six, as their lad is still receiving treatment.

Lewis off, Taylor on.

Bugger! Accrington in 90+4th minute get a winner, so we're still in a relegation spot. But, not bottom and now we've got that first win...

Well done Derek and the boys. Did we need that!

Adam Lewis is a little gem of a player. Don't think I've ever seen a Morecambe player cross a ball better than he does.

Finally, our first win. Well done everyone involved. We’ve played a lot worse, and lost, we’ve played a lot better, and lost. Today we ground out a fantastic result against the odds.
Onwards and upwards.

Bloody excellent.

DA's post match reaction said it all. He looked as delighted as players and fans with this unexpected win especially over our nearest rivals.

Could this be the result that turns our season around and we progress both on and off the field.... :?: :?: :?:

Considering the players that are unavailable for selection that win is quite remarkable. Onwards and upwards. Derek finds a way!

Hopefully a decent FA Cup draw to boot!

Not the greatest of games as the wind was playing havoc but great fighting spirit shown by all and a much needed win.

Makes up for going last year in the middle of a good run on a windy night, those stansions in the stand getting in the way and ending up losing?
A run if results needed though, let’s carry it on next week against the Dons.

Just what we needed - how many weeks have we been longing for a scrappy 1-0 win?

A poor game to watch but it’s 3 points and nothing else matters at this point :D

How good were the fans today? Outsung Barrow from start to finish and deserved a moment like that. It's great to see so many young fans travelling and making proper noise! Let's see a bit more positivity from top to bottom from now on!

Derek giving it the full jurgen klopp at the end!! Leading the line with the celebration. Finally I think we are his team.

I think he just knows that this group of players aren't the best in quality but they have been giving it everything and deserved the first win.

A grand day out despite the wind, the downpours, the hailstones and the trains.
Never seen as many police up and down .
Celebrations were amazing all the way home, well done
