FA Cup 1st Round Draw

This will take place on Monday 14th October

We are number 31 in the draw (home draw would be nice for a change)

Just hoping that my son in law's team Scarboro get the better of Chester at home this pm and then we get a first round tie against them at the Maz.

:D :D :D

By son in law tells me they are winning 2-0 and is watching the game on TV. Cost him a fee but he can afford it....

We need a couple of gimme's and getting in to that 3rd round draw is a must!

Not many 'gimme's' BW unfortunately. Looking at yesterdays results there are some potentially very tricky ties against NL teams such as Oldham, York, Rochdale which would none the less be potentially quite lucrative. I'd settle for a home tie for a change against anyone. Is it still regionalised?

Who ever we get they'll think we're there for the taking because of our league position.

Harborough away would be a good shout for live on TV, so extra cash. Home to Blackpool or Birmingham would also be in with a shout of being on TV.

So, away at Stevenage it is then!

looking at the list of those in the draw there is only 2 teams who I would class a minnows unlike previous years the majority of teams will prove difficult opposition especially if as per usual we are drawn away.

BBC2 7pm tonight.

We are ball number 31. Special interest in our family in ball No 56 who are Scarboro...my son in laws team.

Banana skin written all over it, but, a decent shout for being on TV, and we should win.

Obviously, Harrogate v Wrexham will be on TV.

How many live games are there?

Bet they have us live on Friday evening, what with it being so easy to get there. Although the BBC presenter skipped straight past us in the 'highlights' of the draw, so perhaps not.

Mid table National Leagu South. Potential banana skin if ever there, was one. Not sure how many we will take. Possibly 500?

Their forum reckon we are beatable. One said we are nothing to worry about. They are very happy with the draw.
.
One to watch is striker Danny Cashman who is good as running at defence with ball and has scored 5 goals to date

That's some error regarding our manager... ...but at least they got our nickname correct!

One player who may have faced us before is formerCrawley striker Mohammudu Fall . He was with Crawley last season but was, released a month or so ago and signed for Worthing. Has spent quite a bit of time on loan at other clubs and was once on Bolton's books.
