new shirt?

Chelsea had new shirt on for last home game........Good marketing!
Start selling for everyone going on hol's etc. I'm sure you would sell alot more shirts.[/quote]

Chelsea's shirt looked like a track suit top wth that zip - thought that could be a problem with opposition players trying to pull it down when getting up close and personal at free kicks, corners etc.

Just so long as it's not like the Braga red kit. A lot of people wouldn't be happy wearing that!
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

I hope they are available by the time I go on holiday this year!

(Otherwise I may have to resurrect 'The Club Shop Sketch' from last season.)

Apparently Jimbo was only given a "large" to wear for modelling so the strength of the material should be given a good test

Just as well that it wasn't me who started the rumour about a new shirt manufacturer, otherwise I'd have egg on my face.......again!

How does it work when the sponor is the Chairmans company?

I mean do we actually get any extra cash from Bench? or is it more a case of we all know PMG puts a lot of his money into the club so he comes to an agreement of some kind and his company get the name on the shirt, or is it a complete different agreement with the actual company.

I also thought the same when Jang Print were sponsors as was that something to do with Umbro.

However it's worked out there will be a line in the budget that says 'shirt sponsorship' and that will have a figure next to it which the club will receive.

Not had any sneak preview but I wouldn't mind if we end up with something like this...

"Delighted to have such a well known brand on our commemorative shirts"

Presumably there will be a "final year at Christie Park" embedded into it?
