IF we are relegated and end up in the National League we wouldn't even be a big club in that league
The ONLY reason we're in this mess is because of the rat in charge
33 games to go (99 points) and probably need at least 40 more points which would give us 47 to have an outside chance
Possible YES
Likely NO

He has no intention of selling
Probs offset some loans against us, so he needs for us to go bankrupt so that the loans get wiped off
Oh and the EFL stand by and do nothing

What, exactly, do you think the EFL can do? I really don't know why people blame them, they have no power in this. If anything, they've been supportive, in that they could have imposed bigger fines or point deductions for non-payment of wages.

Insider info or another of JWs all too often mind games to keep us quiet ?
Dear members,
Further to our promise, we have the third of our regular updates on the sale of Morecambe FC.
The Trust continues to work hard to ensure fans are informed of what is happening with our club, and we will continue to pursue all avenues for this process to progress as quickly as possible.
We have asked all parties to review their position in relation to the lack of communication at present, due to the length of time since the last substantive update.
Bond Group
Jason Whittingham of Bond Group advised the Shrimps Trust that he would provide an approved statement in relation to the sale of the club ‘early’ in the week commencing 7 October. That statement was not forthcoming. We asked Jason about this, and if he could now provide an update.
Whilst a directly quotable response was not received, Jason indicated that there had been a meeting with the EFL this week. However, it is the case that further comment cannot be made at this time.
Morecambe FC
The board of directors’ response: “The sale process is ongoing, and the parties involved have asked that the details remain confidential, that position has not changed.”
EFL
The response from the EFL: “There is little by way of an update we can offer on any acquisition progressing other than to say the EFL remains actively engaged.”
Prospective buyers
We aren’t privy to details of who the prospective buyers are and have therefore been unable to contact them. If we are made aware of their identity, we will reach out to them. In the meantime, if the prospective buyers are reading this then please contact us on chair@shrimpstrust.co.uk when you are ready.
