Do Morecambe fans have the fight in them to save the club?

I think a few months ago, they did well getting the media's attention and some comms from Jason. Now that's died down, he's gone quiet and we are still in limbo. With January approaching, our very survival in the football league is at stake. If we are still in this position then, we really are screwed.

Personally, I think there was a deal going to the EFL in the summer and this has been rejected. However, I suspect there's an appeal going on currently, hence the radio silence.

Things we can do:

Trust get on the media
Trust fund some billboards near Jason's house and the ground
Engage with other Trusts for support and advice (particularly those that have had ownership issues)
Fans wear black to every game, bring black balloons (where allowed), bring Jason Out banners (where allowed), change FB profiles (Jason out). Keep this up all season
Keep supporting Derek and the team (whether you like him or not, this helps our team and our plight)

I'm sure that the Trust have already done this one.

How about the Trust making a load of "Jason Out" T shirts? Fans could buy them and wear them under their coats and then at a specified time(s) of the game, open our jackets en-masse and effectively "flash" their Jason Out T shirts! I'm sure a bulk order of cheap printed T shirts could be bought for less than a tenner per shirt. Keep it simple. Just one size for all. Lardies like me can make a slice down the back to make it fit if necessary!

Step 1 has to be join the trust

My membership number is under 500 can there really be so few, we need to ramp this number up and then the trust becomes the focal point and the voice of any campaign.

Avoid anything at the stadium that can bounce back on the club be it in fines or points deducted. The owner is currently counting on any campaigns being disjointed where with the trust the thing can be coordinated.
In Morecambe there must be a company that will print t-shirts for a few quid, have someone creative come up with a slogan then take your T-shirt to be printed and agree when to display.

Join the Trust

Why not contact them direct hello@shrimpstrust.co.uk and ask them about the level of membership? I've communicated with them a few times and always found them very helpful and fast in their responses.

I think there are a lot more members than that. My number is less than 20 and I joined a couple of week ago.

Just my thoughts on the shirts

For me it has to be something that catches a camera man's eye during a home game so that it will send a message to any interested parties on match day highlights. Not sure that t shirts would be ideal but why not follow in producing printed cards like Everton saying something like CLUB FOR SALE and placed on all fans seating and in the standing areas. It got the message over at Everton and whilst we are not in the same league if everybody raised their card at a certain time during the game it could be one hell of a statement by the vast majority of fans at a home game.

The stewards would have the time of their lives wrestling any cards or banners out of our hands

With the Board denying that they gave the 'balloon' instructions and setting up an inquiry into the incidents I cannot see the stewards acting without instructions over any future protest and I cannot see the Board issuing instructions regarding banners and placards. It would not be against Health and Safety nor would it disrupt the game.

It’s great people have fight in them because I believe there is a long way to go yet.

I don't think anybody thinks any different to that but the proactive group seem to be making waves. Unless Jason is getting bored of reading the long winded posts on here and has decided it is time to go
