Great publicity. Even brought in the demise of Worcester Warriors. The screw is beginning to turn on Jaboy and must continue to do so.

Fantastic stuff on Saturday, great publicity and much needed but from a west midlands based lad thought you would like to know I’ve not seen or heard hardly anything about it all down here. You’re all doing a brilliant job but what you see and read up there isn’t national so you need to keep the pressure on to make sure it gets national. Brilliant effort from the lads who visited JWs local area, that’s where you’ll hurt him most when his neighbours ask questions about why poor employees are not being paid there wages, why he is ruining families etc etc and especially as Christmas approaches. I take my hat off to you all
Ps
And most importantly it was a peaceful protest, you never crossed that line which again I applaud you for because it’s easy to get carried away but you want Joe Public on your side so keep it that way :!:

Got to agree, hope the poster campaign can continue in his own neighbourhood. Hopefully, there is someone living down there who can maintain the posters. I especially liked the Waitrose poster, no doubt that's where he and his neighbours would shop.

It's just a shame the Bradford game is'nt live on national tv,so the whole football nation can see our plight.

Maybe time to put some pressure on the EFL as if you belive their retorick that it is their financial rules that are playing a significant role in the sale. .or not....

Mmm! Not sure about pressurising the EFL a) we want to keep them on our side and b) I'm not sure what else they can do if they are bound by the confidentiality business. They certainly can't force Twittingham to sell or specify who he should sell to. All they can do is stop him selling to anyone who isn't 'fit and proper' Which is what they seem to be doing.

Read an interesting article on the BBC website somewhere today about Americans wanting to buy EFL clubs and saying in 5 or 6 years time nearly all our EFL clubs will be American owned. They've got the money and they like the prestige.

Didn't Derek say/hint that it was a US group that wanted to buy us ages ago?

It was someone from the US. Not sure whether it was a group or just one person but I think they had contacted the Trust as well.

Didn’t they pull out last year quite early in the process and were not JW’s preferred buyers!

I just think if they were American they would have by now came out Publicly to say that they are the bidders.

For some unknown reason who ever it/they are, they are keeping their names private and there is a gagging order on the BoD’s, which is holding up considering the amount of time they have known who they are.

It’s just us plebs who are kept in the dark, we have been pretty patient haven’t we, so good luck to the Shrimps Trust and the 1920 Union in their endeavour's to get the club sold.

If the 1920 Union find out who it is I hope they make it public, what a coup that would be!

We know who the prospective buyers are. They are a group of Indian heritage businessmen from the Wolverhampton area. The bigger question is how do they make their money! I suspect that is the stumbling block!

You are right they did pull out after their offer, which I believe the Trust thought was reasonable, was rejected by Twittingham. Whether they are still interested, if 'the Indians" cannot pass the EFL test, I don't know. Neither, of course, do we know whether a lower bid would be accepted in that event.

As well as providing evidence they have the funds to buy the Club, the prospective purchasers, from Birmingham or else where have to prove future income streams that will show they can continue funding the club.

If it’s the first part where they have to prove they have funds, is it right to believe by now the bid should be rejected?
If it is the second part where they have to prove future income streams, I believe that could hold things up.In the end that’s about future projections and about the business being sustainable year on year, the two have to tie up.

If the EFL think the bid is just a rejig of the failed bid, how long will the EFL let it go on for?

I’m not finding anything on the EFL website that shows a bid has a time limit which is worrying, can anybody find out if that’s true? I think it can only fall through if the purchaser pulls out or Jason changes his mind and rejects the bid. NIGHTMARE!!!
Is it just a way of keeping JW as the owner, as some people think?

It may be that the American bidders moved on and bought Carlisle!

The Americans referred to Al1's post are definitely not the same as the one who was interested in us at one time. As to who the present lot are I don't know but would guess that 'the Indian lot' is a good guess!

The Trust have now said, after research, that they believe that the prospective buyers are the Indians connected, now or in the past, to Sarbjot. Perhaps we can all agree now that it is not just a "guess"!!!!

Hopefully the rumours are wrong. I don't want another shambolic period of ownership with the input of finances tobe limited. Sorry.
