Does anyone know if they'll be undersoil heating at this new ground?

I know it would be a large initial lay out, but wouldn't it long term make sense to fit it whilst construction is in progress?

I take it the water sprinkler system will be renewed. The time scales involved between using the existing system at Christie, and the removal and refitting, also the disturbance to the new pitch would forbid it.

It came from Coventry's old stadium but was FREE to a good home.
so long as the recipients dismantled it & transported it to it's new destination.

Hence Chesh, Tom Sawyer & crew were 'sent to Coventry'!

Really we will be struggling for time for the new pitch to settle in it will only have about 8 weeks from the season finishing at CP to pre season friendlies. I was hoping the new pitch would be down a long time before that.

I can actually!

My younger brother has just been recently employed by Lancaster University, his role over the coming weeks/months is to transform Bailrigg Cricket ground into some new full size football pitches, to be used by the club over the coming season.

Whether this agreement will continue beyond next season, i don't know.

Hope that answers the question.

BTW - The pics are showing us all just how quickly and effectively how the new development is going. Keep up the good work!

Not really as I thought that they were going to within the new ground area or has that plan been removed, thought there was going to a multi use area for use by local community?

'football fan' take a look at the submitted plans and you'll see where everything is going.

One concern though is the prospect of the road around the actual stadium becoming something of a race track for the local boy racers unless of course there's barriers to stop such going ons during the week.

When I drove past last night, there was a motorbike flying up and down, and that is with a fence around it Neil.

So even a gate wouldn't stop them, but if there are to be commercial facilities there are sure to be speed humps all around the spot.
