He of Radio Cumbria who since '98 has done the commentary for Carlisle United?

The Indies should remember him coming into the rugby club before we played them at theirs, he'd made a special trip in to come and greet us, welcoming us all and even got his "groupies" sharing garlands.

I've listened to a number of his commentaries over the years, and I know he remembered Morecambe fans with affection, making a few comments during his broadcasts to ourselves.

Will be missed.
