North West League

Postby Number 1 » Thu Jun 18, 2009 8:39 pm

When Stockport County were in League 2, their fan site County4Life had a North West League, whereby all the teams in the North West, when playing each other in Football League matches scored points in a sort of mini league just for the North West clubs.

So what do you think?

I reckon the following clubs could compete:

Morecambe
Accrington
Bury
Rochdale
Crewe
Macclesfield
At a pinch Port Vale maybe as they are covered by Granada, or used to be, but even without them that's still 6 teams to vye for the North West Championship. What do you reckon?

Looks good to me and adds extra interest. If we don't get promotion it will be good to win the NWL2.
